If you notice a possible factual error, identify the article and the specific statement that concerns you.
What to include
- The article URL and headline.
- The statement you believe is inaccurate.
- An explanation and supporting source, when available.
How we handle corrections
An editor assesses the available evidence. When a factual correction is warranted, we update the article and add a clear note for a substantive change. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note. A disagreement with an opinion is not by itself a factual correction.
We do not promise a response time, but clear reports with supporting evidence are easier to assess.
